#1357 Roche Bobois "Onda" King Size Bed

The "Onda" bed was designed by Sacha Lakic as his first-ever piece for Roche-Bobois. Inspired by the mythology of a flying carpet, this king sized bed sits on an undulating platform that creates a feeling of movement and weightlesness. The aerodynamic design was awarded the 1996 Compasso d'oro casaidea prize in Rome and was the first of many collaborations with the designer. 
With only 2 previous owners, the bed is in excellent condition, purchased by original owner in New York City in 2002. The design was discontinued around this time, making this a very rare and collectible piece.
